That could have been the Isadora, she was at lock 1 just after Midnight Oct, 12, would be about right for the time from Sodus Point to the PWP Piers, I know its a while ago, I just saw this and did some detective work and a replay on my AIS for that day on Lake Ontario. I could be wrong, Isadora is a Polsteam vessel, with the name Polsteam painted on the hull, red and white bands with black as a background on her funnel.

my home overlooks sodus bay and lake ontario. yesterday afternoon, about 3pm or so, i looked out to the horizon at about 25/30 degrees and low and behold there was a great big ocean going style ship. something like this is never/or rarely seen. any idea what ship this was? how would i investigate? thanks.
