Thank You from Point Place. Amazing photographs from places the rest of us know so very well and don't get to visit. We now have a picture of you to go with your name. Rumors that you were less than pretty just weren't true.

Maybe you can leave one last post for us on how you started on the lakes and photography. Jobs for anything else were easily available when we were young. And, photography was an expensive hobby before digital cameras.

I am wondering if you will stay in Toledo for your retirement or if you are moving on to some place warmer?

Enjoy retirement as you enjoyed life working. Being with your significant other 24/7 is 99% good and 1% not so good. My math might be bit off on the percentages.

Bob.

Happy retirement! Have you trained somebody to take over your coal dock photography, or are you going to sneak back there and keep us going with our Toledo coal dock fix?

Thank you

Like everybody else is saying Thanks Bob for your great shots and angles we could never get. I always enjoyed looking at your stuff. I'm going on one year in retiement and love every minute of it. Have a very happy retirement and keep getting those boat shots!

Hear Hear!
Bob, you gave us many photos that can usually only be had from the deck and the views of the specialized train unloading - ship loading equipment that most would otherwise never see. The best part is that it is preserved here and searchable.
Wishing you the best in your retirement!

Thanks Bob Vincent!

Thanks Bob for sharing with us all the great photos you took while working at the coal dock in Toledo. You had a unique view of the ships loading at the dock that the rest of us never get to see. Have a very happy retirement!
