I understand that the CGC Hollyhock came out Christmas morning and has been out breaking ice ever since. Sorry they missed Christmas at home but its so important to the economy that they keep the lanes open. This is quite an ice situation. Saw on some other post that the Hollyhock was leading a parade of lakers past Beaver Island earlier in the night. The whole thing is amazing. I respect what the CG is doing and respect the crews on the commercial boats for the work they do too.
