Footers will occasionally anchor off Duluth - typically either waiting in line for the Superior Midwest Energy Terminal or waiting for wind speed/direction to change before attempting to arrive at Two Harbors. This time I believe the Speer was waiting her turn at the Missabe ore docks in West Duluth.

Thanks very much for the reply. I have seen it in several of the pictures from that camera, and kept wondering what ship is was and what it was doing ashore.

Edgar B. Speer in Duluth haven't seen a thousand footer out there before... i Believe shes anchored but im not sure.
