Morning came with a thick blanket of fog and the sound of fog horns on the river. It burned off by noon, and I got some good shots of the ships in both settings.

-

- The first ship was the Edwin H. Gott, moving down-river to Conneaut. You can't see anything? Neither could I! Only the humming engines let me know when they were passing by.
-

- A little later, the American Mariner's throaty fog horn stated her presence as she came up river, with a destination of Green Bay.
-

- Even the geese and gulls were nearly hidden by the fog!
-

- I love finding little things like this dew-spangled spider web as I walk along the river.
-

- Calumet moving up river with no current destination given.
-

- Before the fog lifted completely, I captured this scene at the Corunna Fuel Dock, across the river from Marysville.
-

- Baie St. Paul in ballast for Bruce Mines, ON, CAN.
-

- Joyce VanEnkevort and Great Lakes Trader were headed to Gary, IN.
-

- Love the stunning red & white of CSL Welland against the blinding blue of the water. Her destination was Windsor.
-

- Radcliffe R. Latimer down-bound to Hamilton.
-

- CSL St. Laurent at the Sarnia Government Dock.
-

- Tug Escorte and work barge Ocean Basque 2 were moored on the Canadian side of the river. I had to guess at the name of the barge, since part of its name is covered by the tire.
-

- Sam Laud, at the Bluewater Bridges, was going to Cleveland this trip.
-

- Lee A. Tregurtha with two listed destinations, depending on whether you follow Boatnerd or Marine Traffic AIS. Watch and see...Marquette or Duluth? She's not on the Duluth Shipping News Schedule.
-

- Kay E. Barker coming off Lake Huron on her way to the AK Rouge facility.
