Have seen a few photos on the KYS Facebook of the Engineer’s Day crowds and ship traffic but, surprised not to see more! So far there’s been nothing posted from the boatnerd picnic last Thursday and hope to see some photos soon from the boatnerd cruise last night. Please keep the Engineer’s Day photos coming on the KYS Facebook page. I would like to see more photos of the Gott and Speer especially along with any other traffic such as the Saginaw and the salty Fagelgracht along with the Hon. James L. Oberstar and I think the tug Victory and Kuber were also there? So please continue sending any photos to the KYS Facebook page and thanks. Hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed it!

Here's and Cheers to all of the boatnerds that will be gathering up at the Soo for Engineer's Day weekend 2018! Wish I could be up there with you all but, as always I will be there in Spirit. Good Luck to all of you and may God's Blessings be upon you all for a Great and Safe Weekend with lots and plenty of ship traffic, salutes and good times with friends and family and lots of stories to share and tell as well. Hope that you all have the perfect weather and see more ships on Engineer's Day than last year! I know that last year was really slow with just the Joe Block only but one ship at least is better than none at all as to how I look and view it. So hopefully it will be more busier and you all will have and see more ship traffic this year than last year. Enjoy your time and weekend up there!
