Great image in today’s History sec of the str. Crispin Oglebay (I) in the Detroit river. Known to old Columbia guys fondly as “The Old Oglebay” verses the newer Maritime class vessel that took the name in 1973. The older vessel was said to have “fired” better, operated nearly without interruptions and was always “homesteaded” by her crews.
