Denny,
Unless something has changed very recently, Sand Products Corp of Muskegon owns the property, the dock and the adjacent sand pit. They are the ones that ship sand.

Graymont built and I assume owns the limestone loading equipment at Brevort. I don't know how much limestone is loaded vs sand.

In viewing the AIS maps and vessel destinations, I'm noticing and seeing lots of vessels loading sand cargoes at Brevort and surprised that they are still open and loading cargoes this late in the season especially in mid-January. Is this normal for Brevort to be open this late in the season with all other stone and sand loading ports now closed for the season? How much longer will Brevort remain open then for the season? Also, does anyone know just exactly what the dock name or company that owns and runs it in Brevort is? Thanks for any information on this.
