unifor represents the unlicened crew members on some of the algoma central corp. vessels, the other vessels are s.i.u. of canada. but they are not on strike. unifor use to be called caw, canadian auto workers union.

Isn't this going to really hurt grain exports?

With the war going on, grain supplies to a lot of the world are already tight. And the ability to ship via barge down the Mississippi is really limited due to low water. They are going to need a lot of trains.
