Below Port weller dry dock davie shipbuilding Quebec City biggest shipyard in Canada , shipyard in Les méchins on Gaspé coast , Halifax shipyard .

Latimer is loaded with Petroleum Coke for Port Daniel (cement plant there).
While her AIS destination did show as Port Weller, that meant a stop for fuel/supplies (is my guess) in Port Weller at Wharf 2, below Lock 1, not the former Port Weller Drydocks (Heddle Marine/Ontario Shipyard).

Thanks Guest as I did see that information now that you mentioned it after I had posted my questions here on them. When they were downbound and on the Live St. Clair River Webcams a few days ago, I thought at first they looked to be loaded and NOT in ballast! It’s just it didn’t make no sense at the time when their AIS said Port Weller and some reports were saying that is where they were headed. I didn’t know that they loaded Coke at first from Thunder Bay to Port Daniel. It’s just I figured that they left TBay light and in ballast and were on their way to Port Weller to be drydocked for more work. Thanks again Guest for that information. AIS destination is showing as Port Daniels, Quebec, so I assume they are headed to the St. Marys (former McInnis) Cement plant.

Anyone hear or know where they are headed to? They left from the shipyard in Thunder Bay where they have been at from an engine fire earlier this Summer. When they left Thunder Bay, all reports and their AIS stated they were headed to Port Weller and the Drydock there. As I look and view at the Seaway’s website, they are showing her downbound and headed all the way through at least to Montreal! So, it is apparent and obvious they are not going to be stopping at Port Weller. If they are headed to a shipyard to get further repairs done from the engine fire earlier, where then are they headed to? I don’t think there are any shipyards in Canada past Montreal that can do any repairs correct? The only thing I can think of is perhaps maybe they are headed to a foreign shipyard in another country someplace for more work and repairs? This past Winter I recall I think 🤔 they went to Mexico and were drydocked there for work and they also got new paint as well while in the drydock. Anyone with any information is appreciated.
