West Shore was sold by Miller Boat Line to Buddy Martin on Beaver Island, Spring of 1998. She was going to make trips hauling cargo and towing a fuel barge between Beaver Island and Manistique. While at Beaver Island, she was briefly re-united with former Miller fleet-mate South Shore. It didn't pan out and she sat for a while. Sold sometime in early 2000's to Bay City Boat Line, where she was re-united with former fleet mate Wm. Miller (Princess Winonah). Some work began on her - stern windows cut out, passenger cabin removed, but she never saw service. Sold in the spring to Star Line and renamed Anna May. Will serve as a freight boat and off-season passenger vessel. Now re-united with former fleet mate Put-In-Bay (now Sacre Bleu of Shepler's.)

Roger,

This is the old West Shore. Bay City Boat Lines sold her to Star Line earlier this spring. She will be in freight service to Mackinaw Island when finished.

Hated to see her leave Bay City, as I was really looking forward to her being put into service and being able to work on her. She is a great boat with a lot of life left in her. She is fast!

Anyone have any info on her? Has been in the MCM Marine Drydock at the Soo for several days. Not in the USCG database. Looks a lot like one of the old Miller boats, like the South Shore or West Shore. It has a blue stack. Thanks.
