For Sale is a 24 book set of 1955 Encyclopedia Britannica gifted by Cason J. Callaway to the ship Callaway. All 24 books have a label on the inside of the cover stating "gift of Cason J. Callaway to the steamer Callaway". They also have a stamp on the page edges "Callaway Library FWD - not to be removed from ship". The library cards are still in each book and some have the signatures of the sailors that borrowed them. They have some shelf wear. This is a one of a kind piece of history that would look great on any bookshelf. Feel free to ask any questions, thanks for looking.
