Re: Bay Aggregates Dock Bay City
I don't believe so Brian, but I am not 100% sure. The Defoe Shipyard is just below the Liberty Bridge on the East Side. The Davidson Shipyard was across the river from the old Bay Agg site, downtown, and I believe Wheeler's was located where the Wheeler's Landing marina is now located, across the ri...

Does anyone know why Lafarge's G.L. Ostrander/Integrity is at Essroc's dock in Essexville?
I am at work today and can't get down there to check it out.
Thanks in advance

Re: Passenger-freight boat Anna May
Roger, This is the old West Shore. Bay City Boat Lines sold her to Star Line earlier this spring. She will be in freight service to Mackinaw Island when finished. Hated to see her leave Bay City, as I was really looking forward to her being put into service and being able to work on her. She is a gr...

Re: Gregory J. Busch status
The Gregory J Busch was downbound on Lake Huron last night, headed for the Saginaw River. The Busch must have come in early this morning and made her dock because the AIS is already off. I will track her down when I get a chance and take a few photos.

Re: Gregory J. Busch status
Roger,
I know earlier in the season, the Busch Marine markings on the stack were almost worn off and barely visible. Maybe they are all the way gone now?
I haven't heard anything around here.

In 2011, American Century had 6 trips to Essexville, Indiana Harbor had 4.

2009: American Century-7, Walter J. McCarthy-4, Indiana Harbor-4, American Integrity-1
Hope this helps!

Cost MMC Ordinary Seaman
Hi Everyone,
I have been surfing the USCG Website for hours and I am still not sure what the total cost of a MMD Original application for an entry level Ordinary Seaman is.
Best I can tell it is $45? Can anyone help me out with better info?
Thanks in advance!
Todd

I would have to guess she was sold to Luedtke Engineering. There was a Luedtke truck backed up to her on the 8th when I took the recent photos and a number of people working on her.
