On AIS it has been showing the Indiana Harbor above the Soo for a few days at anchor? I was wondering if that's a glitch on AIS or if there's something wrong with her?

Thank you. I didn't know they had it listed in Lake Huron. Despite visiting Manistique area lots I've never been to that lighthouse but now it's a place I'm going to have to check out lol.

I was wondering of the Seul Choix Pointe Lighthouse is a good spot to get pictures of freighters as they come and go from Port Inland? Thank you.

I need a freighter fix so heading to the Soo later this week. Is the visitor center and viewing platform open or still closed? Thank you.

I also like listening to them but the Soo scanner has been down since last fall. I'm not sure how the online scanners operate, who manages them, or why they haven't been working but I miss them.

If it's one of those paper models that comes in a large white envelope I put one together last winter, although of a different ship. All I needed was a sharp hobby knife, some glue, and a ruler. Also lots and lots of patience.

I was wondering if the Soo scanner is working? It says it's online but for a few weeks when I've tuned in I've not heard any radio traffic. Thanks.

I see lots of ships backed up at the locks on AIS, is there a problem with one of the locks?

They are having trouble unloading. They were carrying some kind of iron ore powder and it got wet and is clumping up.

With Calcite and Stoneport being so close together do the ships take the same cargo out of both or do the two places have different material? Also, do both places have good places for the public to get some decent photo's? Thanks, Jeff
