I see on AIS that the Jackson is at a Ironhead Marine in Toledo does anyone have info on why?

I'm assuming its a play on car ferry #'s 41 which was the City of Midland and 42 for Spartan with 43 for the Badger

Thank you for the response. They just delivered to Superior again. I'm guessing that this tug/barge combo have about the longest runs of any on the lakes.

Last week the Wilfred Sykes loaded at Midwest Term for Burns Harbor and now the Herbert C Jackson is doing the same run. What is loaded at this dock.

Depends on hours worked in a 24 day. If the deck gang put in lots of hours loading and securing deck and then passed Detroit River Light then the would have to wait till Lake Huron

Though not built in the 70's the Republic C-4's had flat decks and no camber. To hose down a list had to taken on so that the water and cargo residue would go over the side. It also caused ice to build up more between the hatches from boarding seas or spray.
