Thats it. Except for the marine. The old clarkson coal dock has almost completely rotted away and the Reiss Coal Dock 1 has been converted to a park. The base for the ore dock may be is good shape (the city's trying to save it for a fishing pier/park in the future) but the area around the ore dock h...

There's no way they're using the existing dock. It hasn't been used since 1965 and is in horrible disrepair. In the summer they have bouys around the dock that say stay back 80 feet.

I know washburn received shipments in the past but I've only seen a photo of a Bradley boat unloading there. Also Ashland still gets a load of coal least once or twice a year. Usually the john j boland, american mariner or h.lee white.

They still use the chutes on the 2 docks in Two Harbors and the chutes on the dock in Duluth that are behind the conveyor system.

Even though she's an ore carrier the Badger doesn't have one. Also the CTC 1 doesn't but if she's reactivated she would probably have on installed.

I was up these about a week ago and it looked like they were doing work on the hull. I didn't have my larger lens on so I could get a very good shot but attached is what looks like a section of hull being prepped to be lower into dry dock. Maybe once they finish they'll paint it.
