As of 6:25am EDT this morning, Lois M is still docked in Halifax (as per Marine Traffic). Don't know why the delay.

Re: Cuyahoga
I widened my search on Facebook and found a good video of Cuyahoga downbound on April 25. The rudder is out of the water more in the April 29 pictures, so I think that she unloaded (at least some) between the two dates.

Re: Cuyahoga
On Facebook, there are pictures of her upbound entering Beauharnois Lock #3 on April 29. I also found pictures of her downbound on April 25, but they do not show her waterline very well.
I can't guarantee that she unloaded between the two sets of pictures, but I think she did.

Fulmar is on the move in the Montreal area as of 14:25. She appears on AIS as French Warship. Remember that Military and Coast Guard boats are not shown on the Seaway Schedule page.

I don't recall ever hearing of this number before. Why don't you just use the Seaway's Schedule page?

I think one of the tugs had the destination Grimsby, not the John D. She was stopped near Grimsby.RogerKYS wrote:John D. Leitch is off Hamilton being towed by 2 Group Ocean tugs. AIS says destination is Grimsby, ON, a very odd place for it to go. Any information?

Re: ist lake boat st st lambert lock on monday
Baie St Paul was the Top Hat ship in the St Lambert Lock this morning. However, the first ship moving upbound was the Tim S Dool which left winter layup in Cote-Ste-Catherine by 6:15 this morning. So the first upbound that most people will see is the Tim S Dool. Downbounds from Lake Ontario ... Algo...

Re: Welland canal
Now I am confused! Did they change the Opening Dates as far as for the Welland Canal and the St. Lawrence Seaway? I saw on the Facebook page of the KYS that there may be a possibility of the Soo Locks opening about 12 hours earlier per a request by the LCA but there has also been no official confir...

CSL Welland and CSL St Laurent are both just out of Les Mechins dry dock. Both headed to Trois Rivieres upon departure. Both have single funnels on the starboard side. Looking at pictures as they left dry dock I don't think there is anything on the port side of the funnel. Hopefully you can see thes...

It also took out a trailer and a pickup truck.ChrisW wrote:Since it is on the south side of the harbor, it won't affect the salt operations (at least it doesn't appear that it would). It took out an old historic fish shack, but otherwise nothing. It was over on the grain elevator side of things.

Yes, they still trade on the Great Lakes. Their tankers are on Lake Ontario regularly, and sometimes to Nanticoke. Not sure how much further than that they go. There bulkers are on the Lakes sometimes too. Not sure what their common destinations are. They don't lay-up on the Great Lakes, so maybe th...

CSL's Thunder Bay was running salt from the Magdalen Islands. Looks like she might be in layup in Montreal now. Evans Spirit is returning after taking aluminum from Sept-Iles to Baltimore. AlgoCanada did a run from Sarnia to Nanticoke to Sault Ste Marie, and is now at Nanticoke again.
