I’ve heard that the Fitz had a Leslie Tyfon 300-DVE and 425-DVE on her stack. This steam horn combination was very common at the time, and can also be found on the Ryerson. I’ve never come across a recording of the Fitz sounding her horn, unfortunately, but it would sound very similar to other boats with the 300/425 set.

Can't be too different.

I have heard that the Fitz's whistle was the same as the Ryerson's. Is that the case? Any clip of her actually sounding her steam whistle?
