Re: rail ferry Manitwoc disposition
The Detroit and Pere Marquette 10 were the carferries scrapped at LaSalle. Detroit was cut up in 2009 and the PM 10 in 2015.
On a related note, is the Viking (or Viking 1) barge still in Menominee? Someone posted in a caption on the old Boatnerd news photo gallery that it was scheduled to be scrapped by the end of 2017, but it appears to still be there in this May 10, 2019 Wisconsin shoreline oblique aerial image:

The only detailed information I have seen is this post by tugboathunter that it was towed south out of Menominee in 2014 for scrapping. Don't know where it was scrapped.

Re: rail ferry Manitwoc disposition
If memory serves me correctly, she was cut up around the same time the Viking was cut down to the deck.

Anyone know what happened to MANITOWOC of 1926. She was at Menominee, and then had vanished by 2014…
