It makes sense that the trailing tug would no longer be necessary once out of the canal.

This morning, the tow is approaching the Canso Canal.
AIS shows that Svitzer Montreal has locked through to assist the Sarah Dann with the transit.

The Molly separated from the tow once they were out of the canal in the St Lawrence and is headed back towards the canal. The Sarah is continuing with the barge. From what I can see on AIS, no other tug joined the tow.

The Sarah Dann, barge and Molly M I just exited St Lambert Lock.

Sarah Dann AIS showing destination Kittery ETA 2021-06-17 0800

Molly M I shows destination Montreal. As I write this the tow is still together proceeding through the South Shore Canal.

Moly M is listed as going all the way to Montreal. From there the Sarah Dann is on her own.. Staying the night at Cape Vincent from the looks of it.
