Looks like the Joe Block is headed to Calcite to load for Lake Michigan. The Sykes, when she was down that way, had gone up the Rouge for steel biproducts, but not this trip for the Joe Block.

The plant can't use regular ore pellets so why bring Minorca ore pellets to Ironville? Are they railroading it to other plants or selling it on the open market like US Steel has done with their trans-shipments of pellets to Asia?

This is interesting. They are going to Ironville, in Toledo at the new procesing facility with Minorca pellets. So, it is a first for the Joe Block. We may now be seeing the connection & the influence of Cliffs with CML. Much of what has gone to Ironviille has been from Silver Bay. But this is Minorca pellets are from a Cliffs mining facility. This is a ray of hope on an otherwise gloomy horizon.
