The advertisement in question has been so heavily photo shopped that it can't really be called a photograph. A much less photo-shopped version shows up as a full page ad on page 4 of the July-Sept 2021 edition of Great Lakes-Seaway Review. It appears to be taken in the American Narrows, with Wellesley Island (and Seven Iles) to the left of the ship. The navigation light appears to be the one off Seven Iles (QR 28 ft "200" on charts). In the magazine version of the ad, other islands and a water tower can be seen behind the ship. It appears to be the water tower for the town of Alexandria Bay.

The home page being referred to is the boatnerd home page not CSL's homepage. That being said if that picture is in line with the phot of one of CSL's self unloaders taken in a "wooded waterway" that is ont their corporate homepage it likely falls in line with a delivery trip through the Panama Canal I'd guess from the stepped landscape. Just my thoughts.

There are five advertisements that loop every 2 1/2 minutes in the following order: GLT, CSL, LMC, Port of Monroe, and GLF. As for the photo in the CSL ad it appears the top portion may have been photo shopped, adding to the mystery! Perhaps our viewers up along the Seaway can help out.

It's a revolving ad at the top of the Home Page. There are several companies advertising, but you can cycle through them by clicking "refresh" on your browser.

There is a CSL advertisement titled "Our Waterways. Our responsibility" that appears near the top of the home page along with the other revolving adds. It depicts a CSL self-unloader negotiating a narrow wooded passage. Any ideas where this might be located?
