I have a number of works in my Great Lakes art collection of which I'm trying to gather information on the artists which produced them. I have had all of these since the late 80s early 90s. To help, I have listed the subject of each print I have associated with the artist.
1. Greg Tisdale - Edmund Fitzgerald passing upbound past Detroit.
2. Daniel Fielhauser - J. Pierpont Morgan at a dock
3. Cuillfe - Don't know if I have this name right as the signatures are hard to read and there is no printed name visible on the prints. I remembering purchasing these from the Marine City area from the artist himself. I have two hand colored versions: one of the Cliffs Victory and one of the Edmund Fitzgerald. In addition, I have one of tugs working in ice around the stern of the Tadoussac.
Having had these artworks for nearly 30 years, I have become interested in the backgrounds of the artists. I can find no good online resources dealing with this subject. Thanks for any help!
