Normac was not a steamship but rather a motorship. She retained that name as long as she was registered, although the name of the restaurant operating aboard was prominently displayed. She has not been on the Canadian register for many years, but she still exists as a restaurant at Port Dalhousie.

When the SS Normac was used as a restaurant at Cleveland in the late 90s didn't it retain its name? I have seen it listed on the Historical Perspectives section as being renamed Captain John's Seafood, but in pictures it had the name Normac still on the bow in small lettering. I'm assuming that the vessel remained registered as the Normac?
