Most boats leaving that dock turn in the harbor, but I think this trip it was easier to back out than deal with harbor ice.

I was watching this and wondering why they would back out. Then I saw a wider angle and the dock they were leaving was pretty close to the bridge. It looked to me like there was not enough room to turn about, so they backed her on out. Just my observation.

Algoma Intrepid backs out of Duluth Harbor

Due to harbor ice, the Algoma Intrepid backed out of the Duluth Harbor, supposedly the first time in 4 years this has happened. Watch on YouTube here..
