Status of Amoco tankers

The Amoco Michigan became Shekheir in 1970 and was broken up at Suez in 1988.

The Amoco Indiana is now the Cement Barge St Mary's Conquest.

The Amoco Indiana (well, most of her hull anyway) is still in service as the cement barge St. Mary's Conquest. The Illinois and Wisconsin were scrapped in the early/mid 1980's. According to Bowling Green they were sold to DM&W Steel of Windsor for scrapping.

I believe the Amoco Wisconsin was scrpped in Windsor Ont about 20 years ago.

Amoco Illinois was broken up at Windsor, 1985-86; Amoco Wisconsin broken up at Windsor, 1985; and the Amoco Indiana is the current St. Marys Conquest.

The Amoco Indiana was converted into the barge of a tug/barge vessel in 1986 by Medusa. She has sailed since then as the Medusa/Southdown/St Marys Conquest. See her BoatNerd page here:

I am trying to find the status of the Amoco Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. If these ships have been scrapped, I would like to know where they were scrapped. Thank yo for your help.
