The Calloway must have internet access. One of the mates posts some great pictures on Facebook quite often.

Most ships yes the crew has access to the internet, but the internet is very slow and often most websites are blocked, like streaming media, youtube, ect. It's really only good for checking email and that's it.

Most, if not all of the Interlake boats have shipboard WiFi powered by Verizon, if I remember correctly. I know that the internet comes and goes with the cell coverage, so out on the open lake, we didn't have it. In addition Direct TV was also available to crew in the mess and individual rooms.

Does the crew have access to a ship WIFI system on most of the American ore boats now? I think the officers did a while back.
