My favorites at the Soo:

Caffeine Express for specialty coffee drinks
Guido's for pizza
Frank's Place for breakfast &/or breakfast buffet
Penny's Kitchen for coffee & breakfast
Palace Saloon for TexMex
Clyde's or West Pier drive-ins for drive-in food
The Antlers for sheer kitsch
Lockview Restaurant for fresh whitefish (if you don't make the Friday night fish-fry at the VFW)
Moloney's Pub for good beer & pub grub
Soo Brewing Co for microbrewed beer (though I haven't yet tried their beer).

Good luck narrowing it down. And congrats on your marriage! =)

Try to do the Island House on the island and don't miss Clyde's drive in at the Soo. Been stung in Munising several times.

Hello everyone, thanks in advance for any answers to my question. My fiance and I are taking our honeymoon to the Upper Pennisula in July. I have not been there since my childhood vacations 20 years plus ago. I have done plenty of research on my own but was looking forward to getting other people's opinions on the best places to eat in/around where we will be visiting? Those places are Munising/Grand Marais, Paradise/Sault Ste Marie, and the last being St. Ignace/Mackinaw City/Mackinaw Island. Obviously hoping to catch some great ship viewing while we are there. Thanks again.
