Please bear with us. Backing up the old website took far longer than anticipated, as is the process of installing the new site.

And to complicate things, those in charge of the upgrade are volunteers, with their own day jobs. Hopefully things will be fully functional again later this evening.
Good things can take time, and projects like this often go on longer than anticipated. It’s all good, as they say; we appreciate your efforts. Messages like Mn bob’s serve to highlight our excitement for a new website! We can be patient a little while longer.

I've been around this site since nearly it's beginning. The original crew had aa lot of fun together while learning and sharing. All along, the volunteers that kept the site going did so without fuss and with incredible dedication. Thank you to all of the Boatnerd volunteers from Neil S and on through today! We raise our Trenary Toast to you all!

Good to see the folks at boatnerd.com working toward goals of improvement and robustness on the website. Real websites like this one are a breath of fresh air as finding quality of experience and information elsewhere (especially on social media platforms) is more and more of an uphill battle.

Appreciate all of your time and efforts, a big thank you to everyone involved!

Hey folks, we have some good news to share!

We will be launching an updated version of our website on Sunday, March 15. The main Boatnerd website will be temporarily unavailable as we take the current website offline and get the new one up and running, but the discussion forum will remain online.

The new website will be easier to navigate, faster to load, and easier for our team to manage on the backend. It should also be much more reliable and less prone to crashing.

If we run into any snags during the transition, we'll publish updates here!

Cheers!
