Re: munson
The Munson is on it's way to Duluth finally. It's up between Isle Royal and Thunder Bay. The AIS reads "Destination: Fraser & Home"

Re: munson
The Alder left Duluth today heading down the lake. I assume they are heading to the upper harbor at the Soo.

Buckthorn is a bouy tender, not an icebreaker.

Re: munson
The Great Lakes Fleet (Boatnerd Vessel Passages and scroll down to the link) has Munson returning to Marquette for another load to Essar.

Re: munson
The Munson and Manitowoc are heading west hugging the U-Ps shore line. They are between Whitefish Bay and Marquette, at about Grand Marais, MI. at 2 AM. The Munson is in the lead.

Re: munson
Manitowoc will be heading to Marquette for another load of ore back to Essar. As for the Munson though I don't know where she is heading to sorry to say. Duluth Shipping News' website at one point had her for layup on January 20 but, due to the weather this may now have been pushed back a few days. Hope that this helps.

Right now, Sunday night, 9:05 PM CST they are at anchor in the NW corner of Whitefish Bay due to weather.
