The rest of the story: Someone from the group that is now restoring the Boblo boat, S.S. Columbia, wrote a news story about how a passenger left at the dock at the end of Woodward Avenue, was involved with a court case that went all the way to the Supreme Court because of it. I'd post a link, but I don't have it. I guess the Boblo boats even though they ran from Detroit were quite segregated.
