She is in Saginaw today, and then will return to Alpena.

According to the April 1 port report on the news page, it arrived Alpena Wednesday nite. Which partly answers your question, to track a freighter you must consult several resources: news page, vessel passage page, Duluth shipping news, etc.

OK, here is the question. How does one find the location of a specific freighter? Take the Alpena for example. I know she was in Duluth. but is she still there, has she moved, where is she going, etc?
I'm building a model of her so I have an interest in where she is.
