there at grand rivers repair yard in ashtabula, same place the cuyahoga was repaired at.

Does anyone have any idea why they are at the Norfolk and Southern dock?
There’s been no mention of damage at Marine City.

From what little information provided, My thoughts leads me to think that they were turning around downbound for the dock at Marine City and head reached to far into the beach where the small boat channel red nun was visual on the port side of the boat. tough call. Just saying from a retired lakes captain. Made that turn before.

Looks like the American courage is having some issues off of Marine City, their AIS signal is on the wrong side of the red buoy and they are angled obliquely against the current, so either they dropped fore and aft anchors or they are aground.
