Not any at GLF, Sykes had both boilers heavily rebuilt a few yrs ago, so she's out for the time. Someone may have more of an idea with the Alpena

there has been talk of converting the badger to diesel electric, but when? who knows, 1st they got to make some $ to pay for the repairs to the ramp. may as well put in new towers while their at it. same thing could happen to the starboard one next year. no use in fixing it half |

Of the remaining 4 active steamers (at least active in 2023), has there been any chatter of any of the 4 being converted to diesel power?
