Well, that appears to be a 1967 Buick LeSabre sedan in the foreground. so yeah, definitely not taken in '59.

In the news today there is a photo of the Rogers City docked supposedly in 1959.It could possibly be 1969 but not 1959 given the vintage of the car in the foreground.
