As I type this message now, the Alpena left their layup in Cleveland on March 12th during the evening hours. They are just off of Cleveland now as of this message at 11:45 p.m. on March 12th. Let the 2024 Shipping Season begin everyone! Who let the boats out instead of the song if you will, Who let the dogs out?

Just checked with Marine Traffic’s website. As of 7:45 p.m. on March 12th they are still listed as laid up in Cleveland. However, their AIS does show Alpena as their next port of call and destination on March 14th early morning subject to change. I would guess then and anticipate them to be departing from Cleveland and layup sometime on March 13th. Hope my information has helped.
