Interlake steamship company

It appears that Interlake has a hard time obtaining Chief Engineers. Almost everyday there is an article about when seeking marine engineers. Never see algoma great lakes fleet etc. with such noticeces. Is there a particular reason why no one seems to want to work for Interlake? Just asking.
