Sand boats

Could be, I've also seen the McKee Sons there twice. The sand boats are tough. They always seem to sneek in and out, sometimes at night, or during storms. I don't have as many photos of some of them as I would like to. I have been told that the river class boats like the Manitowoc & Calumet that GRN/LLT owns had gone in there with sand back in the Oglebay Norton/Pringle transit days as the Roesch & Thayer.

Good point I forgot the Lower Lakes fleet is half US half Canadian. So I guess then I would expect to see Manistee or Maumee fairly soon at BSP.

She was loading grain. I thought she was coming here for ADM or General Mills. Sand can't come in here with Cuyahoga because she's registered Canadian.

Based on the dwindling pile at Buffalo Sand products this trip is none to soon.
Owens Sound to Buffalo is about an 18 hour transit correct?
Any update on departure?

Cuyahoga backed into the Great Lakes Elevator in Owen Sound tonight.
A Lower Lakes bus arrived-offloaded several crew members and their baggage wherein they got onboard.
The ship appears to be loading, probably for Buffalo as per other times when ships have loaded here.
