The Algoma Bear looks like it's leaving Milwaukee at 230pm Feb 23. Enroute to Sarnia. Likely layup.

They have been waiting to begin loading. The mine has been low on product. From a post on Facebook, they finally began loading this morning (2/18) after over a week at the loading dock. Ships do not winter at the loading dock.

Don’t know about that question Guest however, their AIS shows Milwaukee as their next destination and expected there on February 20. So, we’ll have to wait and see then if they are in layup or else still loading Salt? Maybe they were waiting out high winds before they load Salt as yesterday was very Windy. Also, with the frigid cold air in place for now, this could be delaying the loading process? Lastly, maybe they could be waiting on the CG and icebreakers to help assist them out of Goderich. Remember not too long ago, a similiar situation was going on then with the Algoma Innovator as they were also in Goderich for quite a while before they eventually arrived in Sarnia for Winter Layup.

Is the Algoma Bear still loading for Milwaukee, or, is being laid-up?
