C.W. Cadwell Floating Drydock

Worth noting that there are two separate shipyards in Port Maitland/Dunnville on the Grand River. Powell's Shipyard is owned by Terry Powell and is located on the west bank of the river, and that is where the S.G. Powell Lifter No. 1 is located. Vic Powell Welding is located to the north on the south bank of the river in Dunnville next to Port Maitland Marina. My only point being that it's possible that there could be two floating drydocks there at the same time as there have been multiple shipyard facilities.

The old Gate lifter No.1 is still there. Manco was eventually moved to Hamilton as a floating office and was scrapped sometime in the late 2000s.

In 1997 Powell already had a larger and newer floating drydock, S. G. Powell Lifter No. 1 (the former Gate Lifter No. 1), and I believe it still sits at Port Maitland on the west bank of the Grand River. I think both the Cadwell and Manco were dismantled there, but I could be wrong.

The hull of the C.W. Cadwell was supposedly used as a floating drydock in Hamilton in the 80's and 90's. A 1997 telescope magazine says she was moved to Port Maitland with the Manco for continued use as a floating drydock. I haven't seen any information on the floating drydock besides this. What ever happened to the drydock?
