Yes indeed Bob that photo is taken onboard the Edwin H. Gott. The small hatches and the unloading boom match up to exactly what you described!

In today’s boatnerd news page4/9/25 There’s a picture from on board a 1000 footer looking towards the bow from the pilot house, is this the Edwin h gott does anyone know? I’m assuming it’s the gott as it has the small hatch covers and an unloading boom. The caption under the picture doesn’t give the name of the ship. Any info is appreciated tia
