Re: American integrity
I hear fishing line was the culprit. What exactly did it get wrapped around or ingested into to disable the boat?

They must be unloading the American integrity’s load of ore into the American century. The century is alongside the integrity.

That's odd, with their extraordinary maintenance record...

Re: American integrity
What’s going on with the American integrity? They spent a couple days loading at cn docks in Duluth and now are loaded and moved over to the Holcim cement dock and have a oil boom around the stern of the ship.

Re: American integrity
Does any one have any information as to what’s going on with the American integrity? She’s been at lakehead pipeline dock for at least two weeks. I know they were doing some repairs to the stern of the ship. When I went by her today she ballasted down and looked like repairs were finished. Is there something else wrong or just lack of cargoes? Any info is appreciated

Re: American integrity
Whatever the American integrity hit must have done some pretty significant damage as the they have been working on the ship for well over a week now!

Re: American integrity
If the vessel is tipped up like that its almost certainly an issue with a propeller or propeller shaft. Might be 5 days for repairs for a few weeks depending on severity.

American integrity
The American integrity has been at the lakehead pipeline dock in superior for 3 to 4 days now for repairs. The bow is ballasted down and the port stern is raised out of the water. Looks like either prop or rudder repairs, does anyone know for sure what is being done? I would think that the way she is ballasted down would put quite a lot of stress on the hull as the starboard bow is low in the water and the port stern is sitting high so it’s kind of a twisting motion. Any info is appreciated. Tia
