Anderson in dry dock

Someone had posted a photo of the Anderson in dry dock, claiming it was a new image from Toledo. Only upon closer inspection was it apparent that the photo was older… probably from Fraser Shipyard in Superior in 2019..

The post was on a Facebook group for Streamtime Live. It has since been deleted.

Unfortunately, it appears that this was false news posted on a Facebook group. They used a photo that was apparently from the Anderson’s last dry docking at Fraser in 2019.

That's some good news for a change. Hopefully this will be a momentum and other ships will be brought back out from layup in 2026.

Seeing reports (and photos) that indicate the Arthur M. Anderson has been moved into dry dock. Presumably this means she is getting her five-year inspection to prepare for a return to service.

So she may either sail again before the season is over or they are getting a head start to prepare her for the 2026 season.
