I believe that barge is now Bahama Pride, built 1943 at Seattle by the Puget Sound Bridge & Dredging Company for the navy, in American registry again, not to be confused with the tug of the same name. Or it could be the barge Orion, paired with that tug, owned by D & T Shipping, Ltd., Nassau, carrying semi trailers from Dania, Florida, to the Bahama outer islands. Or it could be, and probably is, both. It is getting more and more difficult to track the status and histories of present day vessels than those built a century ago.

I don't recall the barge at all but I did find this 2005 article online. It says that the company planned to sell the barge to a company operating out of Trinidad, for further use under the flag of Trinidad. https://www.freightwaves.com/news/marad ... -scrapping

Kadinger had a barge named the Dorothy A Kadinger that seems to have mostly stayed in Milwaukee. Does anyone know its history, or what its disposition was after Kadinger closed their doors?
