The original poster is talking about an iPhone app that Boatnerd is creating so people can access the Boatnerd AIS. He is not talking about accessing Boatnerd AIS via a web browser.

I'm not sure of the specific problem you're having. But I merely google "Boatnerd AIS" on my iPhone and the link pops up. I click on it and find myself looking at an interactive map of the Great Lakes and all the ships and pleasure craft that have transponders.

You have to ask Apple that question. A lot of developers submit apps to Apple's Store, but Apple is very strict as to what they accept.

When will AIS be available on I Phone. I still cannot get it and was told a lot of paperwork needed to be sent.
My phone is an I Phone 8.
