Ocean going tug/tow

I am trying to identify a specific vessel that I lived on for around a month in 1985. Here is what I remember. It was an ocean going tow boat. Large, I would say between 100-150'. It was an older boat that was originally Japanese but it was purchased in the US and departed for a job hauling to/from Europe out of Jacksonville, FL. It was parked under the Hart Bridge near downtown Jacksonville while I was on it. I remember painting the new name on the bow right before it left. The boat was named after the new owner's daughter, so it was a girl's name. I figure there can't be too many large tugs like that which were reflagged in 85 with a girl's name. Any ideas?
