Algoma Compass odd trip

Noticed a few days ago that the Algoma Compass had a destination that read as “Michipicoten” which is a very rare destination for any vessel. Then, just within the last day or two the Compass then arrived in Bay City to unload. Does anyone know then IF the Compass did go to Michipicoten and if so, did they unload a cargo there or load from Michipicoten and what cargo was it? Many years ago during the 1990s, while at the Soo, I recall seeing the Canadian Olympic I think it was twice back then. The crew told me that “They were loaded with Millscale from Michipicoten Island!” They did not appear to be loaded very deep and in fact, if you didn’t know better at first, it appeared at first that they looked empty! So, I’m wondering then if the Compass may have loaded Millscale from Michipicoten Island and then unloaded it in Bay City then? I’m probably wrong and incorrect here on all of my info on this. Anyone that has any further information on this rare trip is appreciated. Thank You.
