You are right on the money RogerKYS , the first thing I thought when I saw the photo was whaleback. It had the distinctive aft end look and the narrow deck. And the photo is the proof in he pudding - Good stuff! Here are a couple of more pics.

When I first saw the photo I thought immediately of the McDougall but I would have expected to see the sloped sides from that angle so figured this must not be her. In viewing your pic though, I'm convinced.

Looks like the Alexander McDougall of the Hutchinson fleet (can see the edge of the H on the stack). Here's a photo from the Bowling Green site.
