There were o total of five Second Order Fresnel-style lenses used in US lighthouses on the Great Lakes as follows: White Shoal, Spectacle Reef, Grosse Point, Stannard Rock and Rock of Ages. Grosse Point is the only one with its lens still in place in its lantern, all four others having been removed for museum display.

Stannard Light on Superior was a 3rd order lens. It is now solar powered with a plastic lens. Rock of Ages light was a 2nd order, it also is now solar and plastic.

No First Order lenses were used in the Great Lakes. These lenses are huge!

Only a handful of 2nd order were used, Standard's Rock on Lake Superior would be one example.
