Thanks fireman12! I tried to post that up here earlier, and I don't know if I did something wrong or what, but my post didn't quite make it. But once you find those tags under the photos, the pictures seem to be endless!

Lots and lots of great old black and white photos here . Just use the tags under the Ryerson photo and explore . Especially nice are the rare shots of the Edmund Fitzgerald 1959 tour , and an Engine Room shot no one has ever seen . Amazing , thanks .

Great link, thanks for sharing. One of the neat pictures that I found was of the Ryerson being unloaded of steel coils.

Description: Photo of the cargo ship Edward L. Ryerson (blt 1960) unloading steel coils at Jones Island in the outer harbor. This was the first of three shipments to Milwaukee from Inland Steel because of poor weather for the rails.

Transcript: 7,200 tons of steel being unloaded from Inland Steel Company's Edward L. Ryerson, in the first of three shipments through the Port of Milwaukee, February 1979. Steel users in the Milwaukee area were unable to move their materials via rail, as usual, because rail was hampered by severe weather conditions.

Thanks for the link, Sharyl

Very interesting photos, especially the lay-up photos of the "Tin Stackers".
